June 11, 2001 Meeting

The Waccamaw Neck Computer Club met at the Pawleys Island Library at 9:30am on June 11, 2001.  The scheduled speaker was Sean Morrison from Radio Shack Service in Charlotte. Due to a business conflict, Mr. Morrison was unable to make the meeting.  He will be the speaker at the July 9, 2001 meeting.

 We had two new members attend the meeting this morning. I would like to welcome Tom Donnelly and Tony Warakta to the WNCC.

 Clem Thoennes held a question and answer session for most of the meeting and also demonstrated creating and installing web sites using the Library’s laptop and projector.  He used Tripod as the web service for the demonstration. Most of the attendees seemed very interested in this subject.

 Next month, July, we will have Mr. Sean Morrison from Radio Shack Service as our guest speaker. He will discuss the service they provide, how to work with them and how their services could benefit our members.

 Please all try to attend the July meeting and invite a friend to attend with you.
