Meeting Minutes

librarydirections.jpg (40662 bytes)The Waccamaw Neck Computer Club was formed in the Fall of 2000 and held its first meeting in January of 2001. The Club is open to all residents of the Waccamaw Neck. The purpose of the Club is to help its members to have fun with computers. We are currently in the building phase, working to get additional members. To date, the meetings have focused on assisting members new to computers. We have had lessons on understanding computers, managing files, using browsers, designing web pages, etc.

The Waccamaw Neck Computer Club meets at 9:30 am on the second Monday of every month at the Waccamaw Neck Branch of the Georgetown Library.

We would like to enlarge our Club to encourage vendors, consultants, etc., to share their technical information with us and so we can form special interest groups (SIG's). Photography, genealogy, web site design are some of the special interests we'd like to focus on.

We are looking for members with computer experience as well as those new to computers. If you have any interest in joining the Waccamaw Neck Computer Club or would like additional information, go to the contacts page to e-mail one of the members listed.

For information on the agenda for future meetings, go to the meeting information page.
